The Stars of Bethlehem After-School Program offers structured leaning and recreational activities for children in grades K-4. This program offers tremendous support to working parents who know that their children are in a safe and structured learning environment after the school day. Volunteers from area colleges assist and play an important role in tutoring. The Slammin Jammin Summer Enrichment Camp is offered each summer for children (ages 5-12) and blends educational activities with hands-on fun. Children participate in field trips to museums, parks, the Nashville Zoo and other local attractions. Daily activities include reading, journaling, physical fitness, STEM, arts and crafts. Our volunteers play a critical role in our outreach programs at Bethlehem Centers of Nashville. “Serving the underserved” has been the heart of our mission for over a century.
